We would advise that the police are the agency who should be called to deal with live cases of stalking and other forms of harassment, but we have real-life experience of dealing with and advising upon high profile cases, and those where the victims has a high public profile and requires discrete, professional advice.

Hamish is the author of " Protection from Stalking and Harassment: A Guide to minimising the risk to children " and " Stalking and other forms of harassment: AnInvestigator's Guide ". It remains the most requested Home Office publication with a print run of over 10,000 copies.

In 2004, Hamish retired from the Metropolitan Police force after 30 years of service. He was awarded the MBE for his services to victims of harassment and has been praised for his efforts with many tributes .
