Shire Professional are psychologists and researchers who conduct all types of organisational research, and provide very specialist expertise in key business areas for both public and private sector. We specilaise in HR programme evaluation and selection system design, including bespoke psychometric test development.  We have a particular interest in issues around equality and diversity.

Shirepro are experienced organisational researchers and research project managers, well aware of the need to carry out cost effective and robust research to tight timescales. As our name suggests, we provide services tailored for the professsions, and in particular for policing, teaching, nursing, banking, government and medicine.  We also bring our skills and creativity to the private sector to help solve real business problems in real business timescales.

Shire Professional work in very specialist and niche markets, including staff selection, fast-stream leadership programmes, employee surveys and workplace violence & aggression.

We have a particular interest in developing implicit association tests through our platforms; 'Implicitly' and 'Targetx'. Implicitly is a criterion referenced Implicit Association Test available through Hogrefe Uk to test for unconscious bias on the basis of Age, Disability, Ethnic Origin, Gender and Sexual Orientation.  We are curently working on additional tests including those based on faith, natiionality and the traveller community.  We can develop bespoke versions of the tests for specific contexts.   Targetx is our brand imaging versions and the platform for an exciting new 7 construct IAT.

We have specialist staff in these key areas who are regarded nationally and internationally as subject experts. All of our staff are security cleared and used to working in sensitive arenas.

We work when you work, which means our help and advice is available outside the hours of the traditional working day, including weekends and public holidays.

Although we work with clients from across the UK our business caters particularly for central and local government departments and provincial businesses who would like professional advice and support in their key business areas. We have won national awards for our research innovation, and have worked across the public and private sector.
